Mining on testnet

Post by Rockhawk » 13 Jan 2019, 13:42

I've got the light version of rieMiner up and running on a Raspberry Pi and have been successfully mining blocks on testnet.

Would it be preferable for me to leave mining on testnet running (ensuring difficulty stays near the minimum), or is it better to keep the testnet blockchain short and just mine blocks when needed for testing?

As Testnet is supposed to mimic the Mainnet behaviour, I think that it is a good idea that some people allocate a few resources to mine regularly blocks there. I even used to do this in the past.

Cool, I'll leave it running for the moment then.
